Very slick but you cannot open links in Safari. The in-app browser is not as good.

Love this app! Really good way to stay informed, especially on a busy day where Id still like to read up a little on whats happening, but dont have a lot of time. Kind of like skimming the newspaper ;)

Dave Pell is a real, live curator of whats worth reading over coffee, not the usual bot who falls for the same tired clickbait over and over.

I cant wait to read through this every time I open it. Essential and succinct.

Still love the content but a recent update changed the app significantly. Current issues fail to load, even after force-quitting the app. The built in browser is broken, links dont load unless you copy the link and open in a browser. Hoping to see this fixed soon.

Great way to hear about interesting news, presented in a concise, matter-of-fact way. The app is great, too, with a number of understated features that make reading the content quite enjoyable

He goes into the details of what is going on and brings news stories up you wouldnt hear in the media.

This app has become my "go to" app I read every day. Its set up with a different blurb each day and the ten additional articles contain additional links for more info. Yes, you get some mainstream news but many of the articles are unusually interesting and very informative. Most days, at least 8 out of the 10 stories contained are of interest. And its very diverse in subject matter but some really good articles and writers can be had on this app. Great collection of well known media outlets as well as others that come from smaller websites or blogs. In short, I enjoy reading this and wouldnt miss at least a quick glance daily. It has something for everyone and I like it much better than all the dozens of news apps available at the App Store. Highly recommend. Also have a podcast available and I am definitely subscribing!

Dave Pell is GOD

I honestly dont know how Dave does it. But he manages to put together a solid list each day of news, with his own flavor and personality thrown in. Its rare that I dont add two or three links to Pocket after reading the blurb in NextDraft. In the age of algorithms, its refreshing to see an actual human put together what has become an invaluable source of information.

this application makes writing a current events category for the pub quiz much more enjoyable. interesting and relevant news stories compiled and summarized in a good looking, useful manner. five stars. would download again.

Without question, NextDraft is the best way to get a detailed and terrifically funny and insightful summary of the days news. Not only are the stories incredibly interesting, but they are made much, much better by Dave’s insights. Daves commentary continues to be spectacular, but now the articles are much more easy to read. NextDraft is amazing on all formats. Go ahead and download this app - especially the new version. You will love it. Im so confident that if you dont, Ill personally refund the cost of the app.
